GRAPESEED OIL

Grapeseed Oil is a very popular, all-rounder, general purpose Carrier Oil commonly used by manufactures, massage therapists and aromatherapists. It is a favored carrier oil for massage therapists because of its light, satin-like finish, and easily penetrates and absorbs into the skin.

Grapeseed Oil contains a high percentage of linoleic acid (more than many other carrier oils), Vitamin C, A, E Iron, Calcium and Omega 6 & 9, and is rich in anti-oxidants.

Used widely in the cosmetic industry due to its versatility, Grapeseed Oil suits most cosmetic applications including Creams, lotions, body butters, massage products, hair care products, shaving creams and oils, and the list goes on. It has some astringent qualities which is particularly good for oily and acne prone skin, however it is also an excellent oil well suited for mature, dry and sensitive skin. It is also commonly used as a lubricant for shaving.

 

JOJOBA OIL

Jojoba oil is very close chemical composition to the skin’s sebum so helps to balance the sebum production. Great for all skin types, especially dry, mature, damaged, acne prone skin.

It is of a medium thickness and is slightly waxy but absorbs well and is non greasy.

Avocado Oil is a great hydrating and moisturising carrier oil. It is great for dry, damaged, sensitive skin. It also helps with skin rejuvenation and increasing levels of collagen production, so great for age spots, scars, stretch marks and wrinkles.

This oil is quite heavy and slightly greasy, but absorbs quickly and penetrates deeply.

Properties:  antioxidant, antibacterial.

Nutrients:  Vitamins A, B1, B2, D, E, Beta-Carotene, Amino Acids, Sterols, Pantothenic Acid, Potassium, Lecithin, Omega-3 Alpha Linolenic Acid, Omega-6 Gamma Linoleic Acid, High amounts of Omega-9 Oleic Acid.
